We provide clothing, boots, helmets, and avalanche beacons to keep you both safe and warm. If you have your own quality cold weather gear you are welcome to wear that. Things you will want to bring include warm under-layers and socks, sunglasses or goggles, and a scarf or neck gaiter. There will be plenty of photo ops so don’t forget your camera!
You will be equipped with a modern Ski-Doo snowmobile for your rental or tour. We have many machines for either the single rider or double riders. Sleds have heated hand warmers to help keep you warm on the trails. We run both trail and mountain sleds, both with long tracks to take you where you want to go in deep-powder conditions.
We offer guided tours and unguided snowmobile rentals. Tours and rentals are available for half or a full day. After providing instructions on snowmobile operation and safety, your guide is there to navigate you through the groomed trail system that covers over 200 miles and bring you to the best lookouts for the spectacular views of the area. We always leave time to play on the large hillsides, too. All guides are licensed and certified in CPR, first aid and avalanche safety.
Our Canyon Creek tour starts in Columbia Falls and follows the trails up to the top of the mountain. We make a stop at the summit, which reaches nearly 7000 feet. There you can warm up and enjoy lunch or refreshments in the Summit House while enjoying the spectacular view. We also offer Desert Mountain tours upon request.
Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a valid drivers license. Drivers less than 18 years old need a parent or guardian signature. You are required to wear a helmet which is provided.
